I am Robert Gane and hail from the beautiful isle of Tasmania. I started me electrical apprenticeship in 2011 and have experience in domestic, commercial and industrial environments. Prior to working as a sole contractor I obtained 4 years of experience working for ACTewAGL . I am involved with part-time teacher training apprentices at Global Energy Training Solutions.

I have an ongoing volunteer role with Mercy Ships, an organisation that provides free medical care in Africa via a hospital ship. Bobby was one of the ships Electricians in Cameroon (2018) and Senegal (2019). I am a volunteer with the community group Electrify Canberra who’s focus is to electrify Canberran home, get them off the gas and reduce their electric bills. I also volunteer my electrical skills at repair cafes across Canberra. Visitors to the Repair Cafes at Hawker Men’s Shed, Community Toolbox, SEE Change have all benefited from The Belconnen Electrician.

As a local I can carry out work efficiently to customers of the Belconnen area while still maintaining high standards of quality.
